The Leadership Pipeline Transition Program for Leaders of Leaders is designed for experienced leaders ready to manage other leaders. Based on "The Leadership Pipeline," this intensive program offers insights, tools, and practical training to navigate the shift to managing managers. It clarifies the responsibilities, performance expectations, and essential skills needed for success, focusing on work values, time management, and leadership mindset through interactive sessions and exercises.
Who should attend?
Suited for Both New and Experienced Leader of Leaders
The Leader of Leaders development Program is designed for leaders who have at least two or three leaders reporting to them, overseeing a team of fifteen to one hundred individuals. It is relevant for leaders in various work environments, both white-collar and blue-collar. The program caters to newly appointed leaders of leaders as well as those with five or ten years of experience in the role, delivering impactful changes in knowledge, attitude, and behavior.
Organizational Leaders with Over 100 Employees
While the program generally targets a wide range of leaders of leaders, some larger organizations may choose to have a separate program specifically for “organizational leaders.” These are leaders of leaders responsible for running organizations with over 100 employees.
Typical Transition Issues of Leader of Leaders
In this mid-level management training, we will support leaders overcoming the typical transition issues for leaders of leaders. As you will probably notice, these are behaviors you also see with more experienced leaders of leaders.
- Fails to develop their direct reports into effective leader
- Holds direct reports responsible for technical proficiency only
- Follows up directly on individual contributors instead of following up through the leader of others
- Focuses primarily on own unit and does not value building relationships and working across the value chain
- Is unable to lead both leaders of others and individual contributors
